Airport Meet-and-Greet, Explained

Updated July 12, 2026

Meet-and-greet is the difference between landing and immediately knowing where to go, versus wandering a terminal looking for your ride. Here’s exactly what it includes.

Inside the terminal

Your chauffeur parks, walks in, and waits at baggage claim (or the customs exit for international arrivals) holding a name sign. They help with your luggage and walk you to the vehicle.

Curbside, by contrast

Curbside pickup is quicker to arrange but means meeting at the designated black-car zone outside. It’s a great option when you’re traveling light and know the airport.

When meet-and-greet is worth it

  • International arrivals and red-eyes
  • Traveling with kids, elderly parents, or lots of luggage
  • First time at an unfamiliar airport
  • VIP or client pickups where the first impression matters

What it costs

With BlackLaneLA, nothing extra — meet-and-greet is included in every airport transfer, along with live flight tracking and 60 minutes of free wait after domestic landings (90 after international). The flat rate you see at booking is the whole price.

How to book it

Enter your trip in the quote form with your flight number and choose your vehicle. Your confirmation includes the chauffeur’s name and direct contact, and the sign at arrivals has your name on it. That’s the entire process.
